A New Blog, A New Home

I finally got around to creating my own blog! The reason I did so is because I felt like it would be a good idea to keep you guys up to date on what's shaking in southern California. I hope you all enjoy it.

So far, our sojourn in CA hasn't really sunk in. I still feel like we're here on vacation (still being after two days...), but I think that this move is going to be quite a good thing for all involved. We had a party at the house last night, which about 80 people came to. I enjoyed myself, and there are a LOT of Catholic Homeschoolers here. They all seem to be amusing, friendly people, which gives me hope that this whole thing "Ain't been in vain for nothin'."

I'll get more up here when I have the time. Until then, God bless you all!

*bursts into tears* I love you Sheil. I want to see pictures of everyone you met the other night so that I will know who you're talking about when I hear stories about them. Actually, I'll have to just come and visit, that's all. "Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when you said 'good-bye'..."

Yeah... Deirdre and I have sheila all set up with this one boy down here... He's pretty adorable. Anyway, Sheila, this is nice to know you, and to hear how you're doing. What's the weather like down there? *smooch*

Thanks, guys.
I just gave myself a nice large hug from you, Erika.
I love you guys bunches, and I miss you all. I'll try to keep you all up to date on my crazy Californian life. It shouldn't be too difficult for the time being. Pretty much unpacking and painting is the order of the day. So... Anyway, I love you guys!

Now that I can post on here all I want to say is I'm happy that you have a blog and I like your backround and I got an Irving Berlin book at the library and it has both, "Annie Get Your Gun" and the duet you and Deirdre sang. I'm really glad you fixed that, I would have been disappointed beyond infinitiy if I couldn't post! Loveya!

Claire, please stop that. *bursts into tears as well* I look forward to Hermes' and your visit.

Charlie Schuberg, Mad. We had an entire conversation about his last name. Did you know that he's related to the Donner family? His relatives are part of the family that went around the mountains instead of over them, he said. What clever ancestors!

My heavens, Deirdz. #1: Hermes didn't exactly imply that I was going to visit you as well. I will eventually, but probably not as soon as you think. #2 Charlie Shuberg is a great name. :)

Hermes, I know that you will visit within the next ten years. That is all I think or expect.

I wish, I wish, I wish that I would open the mailbox and find an amusing and exciting letter from someone. *sigh* Anyone?

Hello, Deirdre. You SHOULD have gotten the first segment of the story I promised you. You know, the one I worked my tail off for? (Just joking, it came on pretty easily) Maybe you'll get it today.

I got it, MIchelle! Right after talking to you, in fact. I enjoyed it to pieces, but more on that later.

Hooray for Michelle!
